Gamay from our new friend in Beaujolais that we share a common friend & hero with: Jean Marc Brignot.
Sebastian Morin used to work with Brignot in his hay days back in Jura & was on of the very few people that got to press with him. There is a lot of legends about Brignot pressing techniques. Morin definitely learn a lot from these sessions, cause he has some of that same magic in his wines. This is Big Beaujolais. Tannins & Alcohol. Things that usually doesn't inspire greatness. But when done right, it's the greatest & this is the truly great Gamay.
This cuvée is the same grapes as you'll find in Alter Ego, but the batches grew into different wines. As a concequens Morin bottled them under different names. It's impossible to pick a winner, cause they're equal in greatness.
